You’ll find all the instructions on how to make your own dog treat bag for your four legged friend below. Let me know how you got on in the comments!
We’ve since been very busy mastering (!) lots of sits and recalls. She has also worked out that if she just sits down on a walk she gets even more treats…
With summer on it’s way we wanted to give you something bright and colourful to make. Yellow is everywhere at the moment and using this bold colour on accessories is a good way of adding a pop of colour to any outfit. This cactus charm friendship bracelet is quick and simple to make. You’ll find all the DIY instructions below, so read on!
It was my son’s 10th birthday last month and I wanted to make something for the party bags. There was no specific theme for his party this year, but as they were all going to camp out in the back garden, a camping related DIY seemed the way to go. I started searching for ideas and quickly came across Paracord or ‘Survival’ bracelets. These chunky bracelets are great for boys and girls and quick to make, so I decided to give making them a try.
There is something whimsical and fun about pom poms. I loved making them when I was little and after seeing lots of lovely ideas for pom poms wreaths I decided to give one a go! I had an old Mollie Makes magazine floral wreath kit that I hadn’t used (except for the flower I used on my Easter Basket), so I decided to make the remaining felt flowers and add some pom poms. Today was a lovely sunny day and it was so nice sitting outside surrounded by wool and felt and being creative – good relaxation.
Is there such a thing as too many pom poms??! I hope not…
Easter and Spring are full of fresh colours, new life and of course, Easter bunnies! I decided go with the ‘cute bunny’ theme and designed an Easter basket for you to sew. I love the way they bunny is just peeking out. It’s perfect for collecting all those yummy Easter eggs found in odd places in the garden. Follow this free tutorial and pattern to sew your own Peek-a-Bunny Easter Basket.
If you have a Mum or Gran who spends all their spare time sewing, knitting, embroidering and generally being super creative, why not give them a sewing or craft inspired gift for Mother’s Day, rather than another ‘Best Mum’ mug. As a Mum who loves to sew and craft, here are my favourite finds:
I found some fun colourful ‘slices’ of polymer clay fruit and flowers whilst going through my craft supplies. I had to do something with them as they were so bright and sunny. This is what I made – a neon yellow and green bead and tassel key ring. Great for bringing summer sunshine to rainy days and adding a pop of on trend neon colour to your bag or keys.
