I love making dolls for my daughter because you can give each one their own personality and style. They also make great presents as they are special and unique. I’ve selected some of my favourite doll and toy patterns – it was meant to be a post just about dolls, but then I saw ‘Felix and Charlotte Fox’ and had to add some animals in! They can all be found on Etsy.
This is the doll I made for my daughter using the ‘Gingermelon’ Pocket Poppet pdf pattern:
You can also buy the patterns to make different outfits. Here are some of my favourites:
There are also patterns for animals, mermaids, pocket sized pets!
I always like seeing urban foxes, they are so fearless and will just stop and stare as if to say ‘what are you doing in my street?’. Felix and Charlotte are two foxes I would be happy to meet.
You can also buy patterns to make a cloak and a coat for them both. Best dressed foxes around!
The Elfpop range includes dolls (including boy dolls) and animals. My daughter loves monkeys so I had to show it here! The designs are simple but effective and very cute.
Delilahiris has a lot of gorgeous toy patterns to choose from, and some free patterns which are great if you’re just getting into sewing. My favourite is Emily and Owl – dolls with pets just adds to the cuteness! There are also pocket sized dolls and houses to make.
Finally, for lots of really sweet animals check out the Little Things to Share shop. My favourites (including another fox!) are the woodland animals:
What a lovely collection of doll and toy patterns to make for someone you love! Thanks so much for including mine in such wonderful company!
